Real Wood Flooring

We offer predominantly engineered wood flooring from Parla, Isea, Griindorf and Witex. Parquet or whole plank options are available in a number or pre-laquered or oiled finished timbers. An engineered board (see picture) is a much more stable option than a solid wood floor. The middle layer bonded transversely withstrains the movement of the top layer when changes in humidity occur as timber moves predominantly across the grain and not along the grain.

Wood Veneer Flooring

Veneered floors with especially tough coatings are now available from Par-ky and Grundorf where either board thickness or budgetary constraints prevent real wood floors from being an option.

Both full plank and parquet styles are available

Laminate Wood Flooring

Laminate flooring is today's method of easily creating a robust and economic wood effect floor. Requiring so little maintenance, all you need to do is enjoy it.

On offer are the clip together ranges from two major european producers, Unilin Decor (Quickstep) and Witex (Loctee).

Both Systems offer high joint integrity with virtually no gaps together with heavy wear rated and a budget range.

Witex also produce a range (Country Loc) guaranteed for wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens.

All qualities are based upon a high density fibreboard (HDF) core for maximum support to the top decorative wear layer

Karndean Tiles

Woodplank tiles are heavy duty vinyl tiles in a range of authentic wood finishes. Even a discerning eye cannot tell the difference between Karndean woodplank and genuine wood. Karndean is particularly useful in cloakrooms and kitchens where real wood or laminate may not be suitable.
